Final year digital textiles print project based on different tribes around Africa. Photographer Jimmy Nelson inspired me massively in his project ‘Before They Pass Away’ in which he travelled to tribes around the world to capture the core of the ancient traditions and their aesthetics.

Throughout this visual research I identified the stimulating visual patterns within photographs of the distinctive rituals and culture among the tribes. These were depicted through various artistic techniques, which essentially allowed me to implement prints representing the signature of my style with an ultimate outlook on fashion.
